Artist Statement
As a lifelong resident of Tampa, Dylan has woven the vibrant tapestry of his city into the very fabric of his artistry. His creations serve as a visual love letter to this coastal gem, celebrating its diverse culture and rich history. Perry's artistic journey began in 2009 and has been as varied as the mediums he employs, but a common thread runs through it all: color and vibrancy.
Through the fusion of acrylics and mixed media, he explores the boundaries of texture and form. Embracing the unexpected and cherishing the happy accidents that arise during the creative process. The combination of materials allows him to experiment with different techniques, resulting in artworks that are richly textured and visually captivating.
In every brightly colored artwork he creates, he aims to inspire and uplift, offering a visual feast for the senses and a window into a world where color knows no bounds.
